India Foundation organised launch of the book titled "Exploring Consciousness: Non-Duality to Non-Locality", edited by Mr Come Carpentier, Distinguished Fellow, India Foundation, & Ms Anmol Mahajan @anmolmahajan15, Research Fellow, India Foundation, on April 11, 2024. The preface of the book has been graciously written by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Dr. Karan Singh, Former Governor, Jammu & Kashmir, presided over the book launch as the Chief Guest. Dr. B. N. Gangadhar, Chairman (Officiating), National Medical Commission, addressed the session as the Guest of Honour. The session was chaired by Maj Gen Dhruv C Katoch, Director, India Foundation.

On March 28, 2024, India Foundation organised the fourth session of Round-Table Discussions in the ongoing `Tibet Talks` series on the theme "The Indian Himalayas and Tibet". The session was addressed by Tenzin Tsundue, Tibetan writer and activist, and chaired by Maj Gen Dhruv C Katoch, Director, India Foundation.
India Foundation organised the 1st International Conference on `Exploring Consciousness: From Non-Duality to Non-Locality, The Man Machine Debate` on 22-24 September, 2022, at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurological Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, India, with support from the Ministry of AYUSH, the Indian Council of Philosophical Research and the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
As part of the proceedings of the conference, India Foundation has brought out an edited volume titled, “Exploring Consciousness: From Non-Duality to Non-Locality”, published by Motilal Banarsidass Publishing House. The book has been edited by Mr Come Carpentier, Distinguished Fellow, India Foundation, and Anmol Mahajan, Research Fellow, India Foundation. His Holiness the Dalai Lama has very graciously contributed the preface for the book.
This book is a compilation of contributions from 26 of the world’s leading academic, scientific and spiritual minds. It brings together some of the most eminent research and inventions in the area of physics, biology, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, cybernetics, quantum computing and allied fields as well as Indic spiritual and psychological disciplines to provide a holistic picture of the present and future of the study of consciousness and its implications.
The Book Launch will take place on Friday, 5 April 2024, from 1630 hrs to 1800 hrs in New Delhi.
